I am passionate about working with animals.
I have a BA Psychology and an Advanced Diploma in the Practical Aspect of Companion Animal Behaviour. I am a registered member of COAPE (The Association of Applied Pet Behaviourists & Trainers) and recently completed my Companion Animal Nutrition (CO4) course through them.
Currently I serve as the Director of Training at the Natal German Shepherd Dog club, based in KZN (SA) and am an enthusiastic KUSA Canine Good Citizen (CGC) evaluator as well as a Rally Obedience judge.
With many years experience in working with dogs, cats, birds and horses I am well placed to assist you in working towards modifying your animals behaviour.

I have dedicated my life to animals for the last 34 years. Having come from a background of animal welfare, my deep passion and sole goal is to aid in the prevention of animal-related behavioural problems. In my early career I represented the SPCA as an inspector and also ran CROW (Centre of Rehabilitation of Wildlife) as the chief animal nurse.
I began training animals as far back as 1989 at various dog training clubs, which involved puppy socialization classes and obedience training for group classes.
Apart from my animal welfare experience, my Bachelor of Arts in Health Sciences and Social Services in Psychological Counselling, equips me with the necessary skills to understand my human and animal clients better. These skills are also put to good use when I am tasked with evaluating therapy dogs
I am committed to providing the most effective and tailored solution to my clients, for their animal training and behavioural needs.
I am an authroised marker and tutor for the COAPE C01 course and am continuously learning and pursuing ongoing education and development to improve my skill set and the services I offer.
